Wickford Art Association

This course will explore portraiture through both foundational techniques and expressive interpretation. Students will learn essential concepts including proportion, planes of the face, value, color, edges, and composition while also experimenting with abstraction, personal symbolism, expressive mark-making, and contemporary approaches to portraiture.
